The main purchase criterion

With this article today we are beginning to deal with the issue of the CRITERION OF PURCHASE when people are planning to buy a car. We are focusing here on the criterion for the buying of a new car and not a second-hand one.

The goal of this little study on the criterion of purchase is to determine in general what are the different elements that seem to be important for car buyers. Then, the aim is to define their importance toward each other. And finally we will see which profiles of people are favouring which criterion.

Later on in the part of the blog dedicated to our study we will try to see if our results confirm the results of our primary research.

We can identify some very different criterion of purchase for a car which is a long term commitment purchase:

Safety	The look
Price	Environmental performance
Comfort	Duration of the guarantee
Brand	Novelty of the model
Model	Financing offers associated
Services associated	The period for buying
Power consumption
