Criterion of purchase depending of the OCCUPATION!
Hello
all! Welcome again for a new article on the purchase criterion to buy a new
car.
Today
we wonder if the occupation is a part of a people profile that influences the
criterion of purchase. Thanks to the study Ifop 2012 we can make two categories
of people:
CSP-
= workers and employees
CSP+
= craftsperson, storeowners, managers, company managers
Here
is a table with their criterion of purchase from the most important to the
less:

Etude IFOP 2012 “Les Français et l’automobile”p.25-27 Les critères les plus importants pour
l’achat d’une voiture neuve
This table show us that
there are no big differences between those two profiles of persons. The main
reason is that with the crisis even the people with high-income jobs are
careful with their money. That is why the price and the power consumption are
still the two first criterions. But the difference between these two profiles
is not only the money they earn there is also a difference in their education
and in their professional background. People in “CSP+” have made longer and
more intellectual studies. But we can see here that nowadays when you buy a car
your professional background or your studies change nothing in the demand that
you have and the criterion that are important. It is almost the same ranking.
